HAF~DED is a melodic metal band from Reno, NV. A four piece band consisting of a vocalist, guitar, bass and drums, their influence is drawn from a variety of music styles. Melodic tones combined with heavy riffs topped by vocals that range from singing to screaming, the music tells a story to the listener. The band was originally formed by guitarist Pete and bassist Brent. Having played together since childhood, they decided to take their one music a step further. After working to find the right mix of musicians, drummer Aaron joined the band in 2003, followed by singer Jon in 2007 bringing the band to its current line-up. Consisting of 3 out of 4 military and former military men, they're chemistry together is phenomenal both on stage and off. There is never a dull moment in the company of this group. As HAF~DED continues to charge forward, they have picked up sponsors such as Randal May Internal Miking systems, and Tanglewood Productions, a professional recording studio in Reno, NV. They continue to strive to take playing live to the next level, incorporating a visual aspect to their performances.

Originally named chunk, HAF~DED formed in 1999 with the sound of Korn. HAF~DED needed a new different sound. So they took a long break. Later, Bud Bettencout of Disjecta was seeking some new avenues. He and drummer Chris joined with Pete and Brent to bring the music of Haf~Punk. A few months later, the two disappeared, Od'd or something (not know). So now Pete is working the project all solo. Brent still plays the bass. The solo gig got boring. So Pete placed an ad and got a response. Now new to the line up is Jon ny Zero and Aaron or known as Uncle Fester. He kind of looks like him to! And Thus delivers HAF~DED!
